I like blogs. I also like news. So combine the two, and I’m hooked. I don’t much have time for tv, so I see it as flipping back and forth between the 24-hour news channel and reality tv. And for the visually-inclined, there is so much out there with awesome photography to inspire and move you. I follow so many, so many catch my eye every so often, then a few stick and become my must-see everyday. Lifestyle blogging is really grabbing attention these days. There’s a perfect mix for us girls: fashion, shopping, travel, food, restaurants… It has actually motivated me to re-vamp my own blog, this photography blog.  I’ve decided to add a little more personal stuff, more lifestyle. A day in my life… my overly multi-tasked day as a working-photographer/graphic designer and mom-to-autism, James Bond the Cat, and the musings of our newly rescued therapy dog, The Daily Lily. And hopefully I’ll share what moves me and what motivates me and inspires me. I hope you enjoy!

I read these almost everyday, like some read newspapers. And, it is, in fact, a source of news… when you add news feeds to your feed ;). I have most of the feeds set up on my Yahoo home page, sorted into tabs, so when I’m at my desk, I can just open up my browser and see snippets of each blog and the lastest stories. Then, I have Google Reader set up, and on my iPad (or iPhone for desperate measures) I read on Feedly, Pulse, Flipboard, and Springpad. (Most of these are free downloads in the iTunes stores, so give one a try, see which works for you!)
