Two weeks ago, my darling friend, Celina, came up to LA and we had a little much-needed “girl-time.” (Or actually, a little girl-time plus a little boy once he got home from school). Celina is a woman that you see and instantly you think, “Wow, she is a beautiful woman.” But then you get to talk to her and you see where all her beauty comes from. She truly glows from the inside. One of those effortless natural beauties.
I felt like I had my Chicken Soup for the Soul after spending a day with her, she’s kind, warm, very spiritual, and really fun to be around. I only hope a few of my photos can do her justice.
But, I have to tell you what she is up to. She has been so inspired that she has recently started a website and organization, IAmMyJourney.org, inspired partly by the movie I Am, and motivating others to action. On the site, Celina shares affirmations, inspirational stories, and spreads hope and a strong positive message. How can you not love it?! Please take a look… and get involved! And please stay tuned for more pics of my gorgeous friend.
And that brings me to my last part… I realize I am not the best at blogging. Ok, I’m horrible. I have not yet mastered the balance of time, time management, single-parenting plus building my own business… well, blogging seems to get shoved to the bottom of this list, continuously. I’m sorry. But I have a plan! I’m going to try to be better at posting what I’m up to! So that means you get to see more photos! Yay! My first thought is to have “Photo-Friday,” where I post a little of what I’ve worked on this week. So thus the title of this post… “Photo-Friday, Celina!”
