I’ve been wanting to do more fashion and there are certain places in LA that I’ve always wanted to shoot, but you don’t get to unless you plan the shoot. One of those places is the Spring Street bridge downtown. It’s one of those places that is a piece of history in LA; I personally always think of the scene in Grease where all the guys are racing cars in the river and Olivia Newton John is sitting up on the concrete bank watching. But I love the arches, the rocks, and the railroad tracks. There are so many angles and edges. Then I wanted the juxtaposition of a well-dressed man in a suit. As if a stockbroker got lost getting to work. And graffiti, I have an obsession with graffiti. Get used to it, I know this won’t be the first or last time you’ll be seeing it.
