For this Photo-Friday, I'm giving a sort of sneak-peak and suggesting a few ideas on how to use the photos from your photoshoot... I had the absolute pleasure and honor yesterday of photographing a dear young man's Bar Mitzvah. So the sneak-peak is of that amazing kid! Mazal tov, Zachary! Everyone is so proud of you!! As I quickly went through some photos of the atmosphere I thought, this is such a perfect chance to show what can be done with your photos. The family had a photo shoot in the fall, like so many families. They took the time, got their sons coordinated, the schedules of three young men and busy parents, coordinated the outfits, set aside a Saturday during sports and school and prepping for holidays... you all know, this takes effort! And then, maybe you have some holiday cards made, but what else do you do? This family loved their photos,  I love them for loving them, and so they asked me to do some wonderful things with them!

Valentine's is coming up soon and one of the parts of the day I have always loved, besides all the chocolate, is the cute cards we used to send at school, and that my son does now. I still love to send cards, it's especially great for parents and grandparents who wouldn't love anything more on Valentine's than to see their grandchildren, and who don't mind you may have just sent a card over the holidays. These are some super cute options (all flat cards, front with back) and you don't have to get a whole bunch, you can order as few as four cards for Valentine's Day! That's one to each grandparent! Oh, but then there's the teacher, your husband's step-mom, oh and the babysitter, we can't forget her...

Love is in the air. And if you were recently married, or got a new home together, or just found love and want to yell it from rooftops, Valentine's is the perfect time to tell everyone! Here is a little postcard idea, perfect for a couple to send to friends and family to announce a new home. But of course, you could have it say anything you want on the back, even, "We're just crazy in love!"

So here in LA, it's graduation week for public schools. Woo-hoo! "No more teachers, no more books..." And summer is here next week! I was photographing this lovely girl, Maddy, and I thought, it's so big to finish elementary school. Why not celebrate it the same way we celebrate High School grads?! It's the end of a big chapter, for the kids and us parents! Here are a few little ideas. You can do something as simple as posting a banner on your Facebook page, or printing some bookmarks, to sending out a few flat cards or these Magazine Pages to grandparents. Congrats Maddy!!
